Do you know a staff member or volunteer in any of the Bellingham Public Schools or central services (including maintenance and transportation) who you would like to nominate for Certificated Staff Member of the Year, Classified Staff Member of the Year or Community Partner/School Volunteer of the Year?

Each school and central services will select from its nominations one recipient in each of these categories and may also select a Team of the Year. These recipients will then be considered for one Districtwide Annual Award in each of these categories.

Nominations for employees or volunteers that work in schools should go to the school's Principal and nominations for employees that work in central services (including maintenance and transportation) should go to the Superintendent's office. Both are due no later than noon, April 28.

The School Board of Directors and Superintendent recognize that having opportunities to foster positive relationships among students, staff and community members is fundamental for our work to prepare all students for college, career and citizenship. The Board-appointed District Recognition Committee will select the Districtwide Annual Award recipients.
