Community members are needed for a one-time volunteer effort on May 19 or 20 at Bellingham, Sehome and Squalicum High Schools to help judge graduating seniors' culminating project presentations. Each school provides training for volunteers on the day of the presentations, so prior experience is not necessary.
The project is a state graduation requirement that is designed to help students develop or improve a skill or performance; design or create a product, service, system or event; and investigate a career to better prepare them for further studies or employment after high school. Panels of judges of community members and staff evaluate the seniors' presentations.
