The Sharing Fair is hosted by The Bellingham School District's Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee in response to an expressed need among schools PTA/PTSA/parent organizations to learn from each other, work together and leverage ideas. Bike or Walk to School:
On May 16th, Fairhaven Middle School will host a CELEBRATION STATION for staff and students during Bellingham's annual Bike and Walk to Work and School Day!  The station, manned by volunteer teachers and students, offers edible treats, a raffle with prizes and assorted biking information.
Here is how you can help:
      1. Encourage your child to walk or ride to school on Friday morning,   the 16th of May. 
      2. Model healthy habits and walk or ride to work on Friday morning, the 16th of May.
      3. Donate edible treats such as yogurt tubes, juice, fruit, muffins, or bagels.
      4. Assist the teachers and students setting up, running and cleaning up the station.

Physical Forms:
Families of eighth grade students - The enrollment period for eighth graders intending to participate in high school athletics will be held between May 5 - 9th.  Please see our Registrar, Mrs. Davis, in the main office to sign up.  All students who sign up will have their current sports physicals sent over to their high school so they have the opportunity to participate in high school sports programs to include summer conditioning and training activities.


Lunch Charges:
The deadline for charging a lunch was April 30th.  We need to have outstanding charges paid as soon as possible. You must have either .40 (reduced lunch price) or $ 2.50 (regular lunch price) for lunch.  Thank you for your help, Linda
