June 13th In Brief CABIN LEADERS FOR CORNET BAY If you plan to join us as a Cabin Leader for the 3rd, 4th & 5th grade cabins during Cornet Bay, you will need to get the fingerprinting paperwork in very soon. Fingerprint packets are available in the office. The cost for fingerprinting is $10.00. Please call Anne if you have any questions.
|  I hope to see you on Monday, May 5 at the PTA "Family Picnic." We will be celebrating the important role families have at Larrabee. This will be the first opportunity for next year's families, current families, and Larrabee staff to meet all at once. Snacks will be provided by the PTA, the recess equipment will be available for games, a slide show will be running in the gym, and the building will be open for tours.
Family involvement has been a key to Larrabee's success and we want to thank all of you. Have a wonderful weekend! Eric PaigeWADE KING MEETING An additional parent information meeting has been scheduled for families who will be attending Wade King Elementary. This is intended for parents/guardians who may have missed the information meetings in March. At this meeting, principal Rob McElroy will update parents on the design and construction schedule for the facility. He will also share his vision for the school and discuss next steps in transitioning students to King Elementary this fall.
The meeting for parents/guardians will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Happy Valley Library.
Our intent is to get feedback from staff, parents, and community members so that we can make a recommendation to the Board later this spring. The survey will be left on the website through Wednesday, A NOTE FROM THE KITCHEN...... Well, the end of the year is upon us! Please be sure and clear up any charges that your student may have accrued recently. All charges must be paid by May 15th. No charges will be granted after May 15th as we'll need to clean up our accounting records for the 2007/08 school year.

The Sock Hop is May 16th from 6-8 p.m. We've got our fabulous D.J., Rob Zinns, to spin some tunes and Round Table Pizza and Root Beer Floats to fuel you up for LOTS of dancing!
