All Bellingham schools are on a two-hour delay with all snow routes in effect for Wednesday, Dec. 17. 

All snow routes, Groups A, B and C, are in effect. To determine if you live on a snow route and your stop, click here. School buses will pick students up two hours later than usual at designated snow route bus stops.

There is no out-of-district transportation today.

The same route changes apply in the morning and the afternoon.

Special education buses do not follow these snow routes, but use prearranged bus schedules as determined with individual families.

The delayed schedule means that schools begin at:

  • 9:45 a.m. for high schools (10:30 a.m. for Options/GRADS)
  • 10:30 a.m. for middle schools
  • 11 a.m. for elementary schools
  • Students that stay all day for the KIDS program start at 11 a.m.
  • P.M. kindergarten begins at 12:55 p.m. P.M. preschool begins at 1:30 p.m.
  • A.M preschool and A.M. kindergarten classes at all sites are cancelled

All students will be released at their regular times.

When school is open on snow routes or delayed, school and district administrators decide whether to cancel activities, meetings/events on a school-by-school basis. Please contact your school.
