Elementary and middle school offices are closed for the summer beginning Friday, June 26. Elementary and middle school offices reopen to the public from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 24.  Options High School reopens to the public from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 24.

Throughout the summer, families of elementary and middle school students may pick up fall registration forms for new students at Central Services, 1306 Dupont St.

Central Services is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday in July and Monday through Friday in August. For school and attendance area information, visit http://www.bham.wednet.edu/district/attendance.htm or call 676-6400.

Bellingham, Sehome and Squalicum High School offices will be open throughout the summer to the public and for fall registration for new students from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday in July and Monday through Friday in August. For transcript requests, information on high school course selection for new students and back-to-school orientations, please check your high school's Web site or contact your school.

School begins for all students on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Schedules for middle and high school orientations and athletic/activities turnout and elementary 'meet and greet' times will be posted on school Web sites and shared through e-news in the coming weeks. 

All Bellingham School District families will receive a back-to-school packet in the mail in mid-August that includes the school year calendar, program and school contact information, an application for free/reduced school meals, information about low-cost student health insurance, bus information and a privacy form for opting out of release of student directory information.

Both morning and afternoon bus schedules will be posted as soon as they have been updated this summer for the 2009-10 school year at http://www.bham.wednet.edu/departments/transportation/transportation.htm  Many bus routes are being revised due to the adopted Budget Savings Plan (see item 58B). Routes are updated on this Web site throughout the summer into early fall to reflect new student enrollment.
