In Brief Alex Kelsh moves on in State Geography Bee Alex Kelsh, 4th grader in Mr. Hausman's class, who was the winner of the Happy Valley Geography Bee, has qualified to represent our school and participate at the state level of the National Geographic Bee. Alex will compete on Friday, April 9, 2010, at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. The winner from each state will then advance to the national competition in May in Washington, D.C. The final round of the National Geographic Bee , featuring Alex Trebek, will air on television on May 26. CONGRATULATIONS ALEX!

Parent Information Night on Standardized Testing There will be an MSP (Measures of Student Progress) Parent Information Night on Tuesday March 16th from 7:00-8:30 at the Roeder Administration building on Dupont St. This is the new state assessment that replaces the WASL this spring. The presenter will be Brian Rick, district assessment and evaluation specialist. Come with any questions and become informed on this assessment tool. The PTA Needs You ! Happy Valley needs you!
