Important dates: In Brief LARRABEE AUCTION Do you have a skill that you can share? An item or service to donate? Brainstorm with family/friends and come up with a group project— a dozen cookies a month, babysitting, a movie basket filled with movies and popcorn. Your donations help the Larrabee PTA support our students. Pick up an auction donation form in the office or download it from the Larrabee website . |
Girls on the Run spring session starts March 30th! Girls on the Run is set to begin at Larrabee! This awesome program combines lessons on building self-confidence and making healthy choices with physical games and running activities. The focus is on self-improvement, rather than competition. Girls on the Run will meet at Larrabee from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The spring season runs from March 30th to June 12th. The $120 fee covers the 20 meetings, healthy snacks, a Girls on the Run T-shirt, a water bottle and entrance into our culminating 5k event on June 12th. Financial assistance is available. Jen Gallant Program Coordinator Girls on the Run of NW WA Whatcom Family YMCA Parent's Night Out Larrabee’s PTA is working with local high school students and Mrs. Pittis to provide Spanish Enrichment and child care. The high school students are raising money for a trip to Spain this summer through ISE. A light meal will be served and Spanish art, music, and games will be taught to all participants. We had an amazing turnout at the Science Fair on Thursday. Approximately 70% of our students submitted a project. That is especially amazing considering the projects were not a required part of the curriculum.
