Over the past month, we have had a number of car break-ins in our student parking lot.  Today, between 12:45 and 2:15 p.m., we had nine cars broken into.  A police report has been filed for each incident, including today's multiple break-ins.  In each case, windows were broken, doors were pried open and/or electronics were stolen.  It appears that today’s incident took more than just a few minutes because of the number of cars impacted and because the vandalized cars were spread throughout the parking lot.  It is possible that a Squalicum student, parent or staff member may have seen those responsible in the upper parking lot.  If anyone has anything to report, or may have heard who is responsible, we ask that you please call Squalicum High School at 676-6471 to report any information.  If you would like to leave an anonymous message, you can call the Bellingham School District tip line at 676-6846.
