Astronomy Opportunity One of Larrabee’s student teachers, Suzanne Hinckley, who is teaching in the Portables, is organizing a Larrabee Astronomy Night for the evening of Friday, May 21. With the generous support of the Whatcom Association of Celestial Observers, who will be bringing by telescopes for nighttime viewing, as well as a stargazing presentation and student presentations of what Portables’ students have been learning about Astronomy, we are planning a fun and educational evening of Astronomical learning. All students and families of Larrabee are invited! Are there any parents or family members who have astronomy expertise (or materials) they’d like to lend us for the evening?
