  Elementary School Schedule for 2010-11
  We wanted to take this opportunity to clarify next year's elementary school schedule and the instructional benefits for children. We value and respect our teachers and look forward to continuing to work closely with the Bellingham Education Association (BEA) on the details to make this aligned schedule a success. The district makes every effort with good-faith intentions to communicate accurate information frequently and openly with staff, families and community members.

  International Baccalaureate Authorization Team Visits Wade King Elementary
  An authorized team of educators from the International Baccalaureate Organization is visiting with students, staff, families and community partners at Wade King Elementary School this week to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the school’s ability to deliver the IB Primary Years Program (PYP).

  District Purchases King Mountain Property to Plan for Future
  To plan for future growth in north Bellingham, the School Board authorized the Bellingham School District's purchase of 14 acres for a future school site in the King Mountain area at the May 27 meeting, contingent upon results of an in-depth feasibility analysis.

  Kenn Robinson will be director of Categorical Programs and Support Services in the Bellingham School District effective July 1.
