  Supreme Court Hears Oral Arguments in Historic State K-12 Special Education Funding Lawsuit
  OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington State Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments starting this week in the School Districts’ Alliance for Adequate Funding of Special Education lawsuit against the State of Washington for failure to sufficiently fund special education.

  Registration Deadline Extended to June 27 for State HSPE Retake
  The High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE) measures the proficiency of students in high school and serves as the state's exit exam. Students in the classes of 2010 through 2012 must pass this assessment or state-approved alternatives in reading, writing and mathematics to be eligible to graduate.
