  All Bellingham Schools On Time for Friday, Jan. 9 with Transportation Changes
  All Bellingham schools are operating on time with transportation changes due to some remaining road closures for Friday, Jan. 9. Please be at stops on time, but be prepared for delays, both for pick-ups and drop-offs in the afternoon, while buses navigate road issues to reach students. All students will be released at their regular times.

  All Bellingham schools are closed for Thursday, Jan. 8 due to flooding. Numerous road closures, standing water and debris on the roadways within our transportation network do not make it possible for our buses to take children to and from school safely. Current road conditions and land stability issues also continue to change rapidly, resulting in unanticipated risk.

  School Board Elects New Officers
  At the Dec. 11 meeting, the Bellingham School District Board of Directors elected a president and vice president from among its members. The School Board elected Stephen Schoenfeld as president and Dr. Ken Gass as vice president, effective immediately.
