  • Submit Your Budget Savings Input by Noon, Dec. 18
    Students, staff and community members are encouraged to submit budget savings ideas and input to the Bellingham School District by noon, Friday Dec. 18, prior to the development of a Budget Savings Plan to reduce expenses for the 2010-11 school year.


  • Apply by Noon, Dec. 18 for District Budget Advisory Committee
    High school students, community members and parents/guardians may apply by noon on Friday, Dec. 18 for consideration to serve on the Bellingham School District Budget Advisory Committee.

  • Emergency Work on Whatcom Middle School Begins
    The Bellingham School District has hired Dawson Construction to begin emergency work on Whatcom Middle School to make the building safe for fire and structural personnel to perform their investigation and initial damage assessment from the Nov. 5 fire.


  • Phone, E-Mail Service Restored
    Phone and e-mail service for the Bellingham School District office and schools has been restored.


  • Staff Working to Repair District, Schools Phone System
    The Bellingham School District office and its schools remain without phone service and voice mail access due to hardware that was damaged during a power outage on Nov. 19.


  • No Phone Service, E-Mail at District Office and Some Schools
    Due to a power outage last evening, the Bellingham School District office and some schools are temporarily without phone and e-mail service this morning. Staff are working on restoring these services.

    No transportation will be provided today, Wednesday, Nov. 18 into the Eagleridge area due to a road closure. Students living in the Eagleridge area should catch the bus along Northshore Drive
